Florida's SCI Awareness Week is gearing up...
Florida's Darrell Gwynn Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to preventing paralysis whenever possible, and Gwynn and his colleagues are planning to use the state-wide platform of the state's first "Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week" -- slated for Nov. 13 - 19 -- to educate people on the dangers of accidents that can lead to paralysis.
During that week, the Foundation will make extra efforts to educate people in classrooms, on the airwaves, and at events across the state, with the goal of preventing spinal cord injuries.
